Projects
The Refuge Group accomplished projects in the past, is currently working on projects, and will continue to work on projects in the future. Most projects are done locally in Utah. However, the organization is planning on doing projects overseas. Some projects take the form of a one-time event while other projects are done as programs for an extended period of time.
Local
Exercise Challenge Program
Currently, The Refuge Group (TRG) is implementing an exercise challenge program for refugees in the Salt Lake Valley.
Community Event
The Refuge Group (TRG) in partnership with Greater Equatoria Region Association of Utah (GERA-UT) held a community event on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Poplar Grove Park.
Workshop
The Refuge Group (TRG) in collaboration with Greater Equatoria Region Association of Utah (GERA-UT) organized a workshop on Saturday, October 6th, 2018 at Murray Public Library. The workshop discussed “Sexting” and its consequences on youth.
